Schumann - Symphony No. 1 in B flat major Op.38 "Spring" 29 November 2010 - 7 December 2010

Such a long and challenging project, once again centered on Schumann’s first symphony, had many positive sides that we are happy to mention: the encounter with the (numerous) students in Rome, who were also very well prepared by their teachers, our north-European members in awe in front of the Tyrrhenian sea in winter, the pleasure of playing in traditional Italian theaters in Grosseto, Pisa, and Modena, and, last but not least the gastronomic side of our road trip, appreciated by all of our musicians, no matter the nationality.
